Photo: Zandra Stratford. Basically, she takes all the pictures. When in doubt, assume that the picture you're seeing is hers, she took that picture, she was the photographer, and, well, you get the idea. I post this in the spirit not only of marital harmony, but to give credit where credit is due. And, um, marital harmony.
I mentioned to my friend, the famous First-Nations filmmaker Mike Glendale, that I was headed to San Francisco and he said "you're not working, you're going to go shoe-shopping." Mike is a fellow shoe-whore, so he had me dead to rights.
So ordinarily I would not blog about the wicked sneakers I found except for the fact they have Aleister Crowley on them which is either merely cool or hilarious depending on how you look at it.
What I really want to blog about is the experience of concelebrating Mass with Bishop Rosamonde for Mary Magdalene, but it's taking some time to organize my thoughts around it.

Just wait til you see my black suede Chucks with the brass eyelets and all. Kinda yuppy/ punk fusion, kinda model-T with leather seats. 5 years ago, I never woulda though. Me? Shoe Fetish? Yuckity-yuck.
Must be this Gnosticism thing: the body is a tomb/ prison/ false apearance, and what I wear has nothing to do with who I truly AM, but it is sure fun to play dress-up!
Glad to know I'm in such illustious company.

I started reading your blog this month and I find the Crowley sneakers to be hilarious.
I wonder if they'll put him on a coke can next? Now that's an altar piece!
